Our Capo Food team is here to support and collaborate with educators to bring engaging, food-focused experiences to your classroom and school community. We’d love to partner with you on:
- Student taste tests for new menu items
- Produce sampling and nutrition education
- School garden connections and activities
- Classroom, club or school-wide nutrition promotions
OCDE’s Harvest of the Month Program
Elementary teachers can sign up each September with their principal to participate in OCDE’s Harvest of the Month program, which runs from January through May. This program highlights seasonal, local produce with ready-to-use produce samples, nutrition education curriculum, and family resources. **Sign Ups for the 2026 Harvest of th Month Program are now closed. Keep an eye out for 2027 signups in September**
